  1. Low income families receiving state/federal assistance with children between the ages of 0 to 14 that find themselves in financial need and might not be able to purchase a Christmas gift for their children qualify to receive toys from our Toys for Tots campaign. Prior to the parent(s)/legal guardian(s) receiving toys for their children, they must show valid proof of the following:

  1. PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION: A valid (non-expired) state picture identification card is required to establish and prove your identity.  If you dont live in Cherokee and Adair County you must present your tribal card.
  2. PROOF OF PARENTAL/LEGAL CUSTODY OF CHILD/CHILDREN: A parent is the only person that can request toys for their own child/children. The only exception to this, is if an adult, whom is not the biological parent, has court-ordered legal custody/guardianship over the child/children. Either way, valid proof must be presented for ALL children trying to receive toys. (i.e. ORIGINAL Birth Certificate(s), Legal Custody Documentation) Only one toy request per household is permitted.
